What A Week..

Well, life changing events took place Tuesday... I suppose the first time traveling alone counts as a life changing event.  The flight was terrible, most probably the worst one in my entire life! period.  Bad weather and all, should have picked an earlier flight. Traveling is tiring, mostly because I overpacked, as I always do...

Again, stayed in a hostel, this time its Paradiso Bed and Breakfast, dirtier than Bedz KL, but they provided breakfast, location wise is great, just awesome, but it was rather hard to find...  I forgot to bring my earplugs, I did see comments online reminding people to bring earplugs, just forgot...  making sleeping so tough.  I was roomed with a Taiwan dude, I feel sorry for the poor guy, staying in KL for a week, alone...honestly, I don't there's THAT much to see in KL.

Why did I go to KL?  NTU scholarship interview, but I was more focused on the shopping.  ZOMG, I am such a shopaholic...@@ in one day, less than 5 hours that Wednesday, I spent RM###++, I so damn scare myself sometimes.  The interview was rather weird, we talked about why I didn't choose ASEAN, what I did in my free time, recent happenings in East Malaysia, which I initially perceived as East Asia, my career aspirations and stuff.  I feel that I came off as a fool, a klutz, damn embarassing...  I am never satisfied with my interview performances.

The interview was conducted at...  JW Marriott KL!!  OMG ah~ if you wanna know how classy is this hotel, there's a LV store next door!  Last time, the store next to my hostel was a freakin kedai runcit. There were freakin small hand towels rolled into cute little buns that you can use to clean your hands after you wash them.  I suggest the people who are in dire need of free handkerchiefs to use the toilet there. LOL!

After the interview, went to Midvalley.  Initially I was planning to go into Pavillion, but after I saw all the labels, decided otherwise.  SoI went to Midvalley, bought the ticket to Sentral at BB monorail, forgot to take the ticket when I went in!  Only realising it on-board the monorail, went off at Imbi then went back to BB, lol... silly me...  wasting time...

When I finally reached Midvalley, stomach grumbling... went to Kim Gary, since I heard so many good things about it from my sis and bro.  Finding the place was really hard... but I did in the end...  Imagine, having the need to queue up to get in on a Wednesday night!  So sad lar... everywhere couples or family and I'm alone... but then apparently, it was easier to get a table that way...  While I was ordering, I saw someone I met during the interview earlier that day!  Haha, what a coincidence...  then we talked, about the interview, his other interviews, form 6 life and stuff, then we walked around the place a while.  Well, honestly, I didn't think the cheese-baked rice was THAT nice... maybe because I didn't pick the right meat to go with it.

Thursday, left early in the morning after breakfast.  KLIA, a decent looking place, but I am extremely irritated by all the walking needed to the terminals.

So I left KL on a Thursday, but I reached Kuching on Saturday.
Where did I disappear to?

=P

Damn tired...

I am damn tired... blame it on the weather! I almost hurled...

Sickening... must be a noob driver, swing here swing there, like the long long travel period is not uncomfortable enuf.

I left home around 1pm, then I reach my temp. at 9! can u believe it? Unbelievable...

Today I voice out my appreciation to my mom.

Well, it IS mother's day...

What did I do for mother's day?  Haha, just the thought of it makes me laugh.

Hope she likes it.  Spontaneous planning was involved.

So... I received all my offers from overseas, its so exciting that I got accepted overseas!  *sigh~*

I tried crunching the numbers, but its just hopeless, man...  There are moments that I wished I never applied at all.  I can't afford all that, where the hell can I find rm400,000 !?

I said before I've been hoping that April would be a busy month, but it turned out to be one of the slowest one yet.  Scholarship applications are getting cold and stale... T.T

No news, no news, anywhere also no news...

Did you know offer letters have due dates?  As the due dates creep closer, what the heck am I gonna do?

If I'm going to UK, I could opt for the 3 year Actuarial Science course, but do I really want to do that?  I mean, I could do it no problem, but I want to deal with technology, I have these ideas that randomly pop up in my head and I want to invent those things.  Foolish me, I applied for the 4 year MEng course, which is great, if "someone" was rich enough.

*sigh~*
I just have to remind myself that I applied in the first place with the condition that I would only go if I got a scholarship to put me there.  Now the offers came in and I could really have a chance!  Its just that no one is interested to invest in me.  I guess I'm a terrible person who is not worth investing in?  Someone who only knows how to study?  Join 5 clubs also no use... >.>

I thought that by getting 4.0, I would have my chance, my turn, but I guess that is NOT the case for me.

Maybe I should accept the Monash offer before it goes stale, like literally cos its been sitting on my desk for over a month now...

Last night, there was a dinner, less than 20 people showed up, well you can't say it was a success but its not much of a failure either.

A rather peculiar day this Sunday was...  not one of my proudest moments there.  Once again, am I really to blame? I don't think so...  but it did happen cuz of my decision that day.  I think I moved pass that.  I give it a "pass".

So we went to Bla Bla Bla, ordering was damn chaotic, imagine if 30 over people showed up, that would be so much WORSE...

I think this chandelier must be famous in Kch already...

I don't really think it would be interesting to review the food there, not like its a new place and all... but all in all, in my taste, the signature dishes are great, others not so much.  Drinks are a little too expensive.  Plates are very big tho, portion wise wasn't so.

My phone camera is poor, hence the type of quality you see here, does very very poorly when the light is dim.

It was a fun night, laughs... chatter...  sure hope there's gonna be more.  Maybe next month?  People keep complaining about how their wallets are thinning.  =P

Waiting

Well, its the beginning of April.  March ended in an untimely fashion, not to say I didn't have blogging material, I definitely had blogging material, but you can say that I wasn't in the mood.  Got distracted by the simple, blogging just seemed so much harder.   *laughs*

As 2010 enters his 2nd quarter, represented also is my holiday which has been well over 3 months now!  Wow, it just seems so unbelievable that it has been THAT long already.  You know, in this time, I realised how people just get on with their lives after the exam, playing the part they want to play, just comes naturally I guess?  That just makes me wonder what I achieved in this holiday, not much difference I made, can't think of anything that's down right significant right now... oh well, not like I reached the half-mark of my holiday, right guys?

So for me, March was a hell lot about applications.  I did what I could with it, just hope I delivered.  It was such a drag... even elaborating on it seems like such a drag... so I'm just gonna leave it at that.  Oh~, how would I love to go overseas.

This month, I hope its a busy one, crossing my fingers that I would need to ride on a plane.  Desperate aren't I? Yeah, well I just recently found out that I didn't make it to some of the applications I made.  Just makes me feel like nothing has changed at all, even with 4.0, its still never going to be good enough, that I'm never gonna be good enough.  So, I am now waiting, for an opportunity, for a chance.

In the mean while, I deserve some fun!

(This post is kinda cheezy and bitter)

Hi guys!  It has been a long while.  I know I should update more often but, well, priorities change.  I'll just go straight to the point

This is what I looked like when I drove to school, not knowing my results on 25th February.  I kinda have this kind of habit of taking a picture of myself before something important.  I can still remember that while I was driving, the radio played Maroon 5 "Harder to Breathe" and Rihanna's "Russian Roulette".  I was like, what was the Cosmos trying to tell me?

To keep it short, I'm glad, overjoyed, but everything is kept in moderation.  (Except I hugged a guy)  I'd like to use this opportunity to thank my school teachers, for being so awesome (except that Chem teacher), and the tuition teachers for making class so lively and bearable.  Tuition helped, =) .  I'd like to thank my family for the moral support they had given me and all the crap I had to put up with...  Last but not least, I want to thank my friends, just for being there, hehe...

It feels awesome to know that I did it right.  Congratulations are in order for the two ladies whom as expected, rose to the expectations.  Wee~, all my paper grade A; me, the number 3 seed of our year; me, who didn't get top scores for any subject; me, who beat the top seed in STPM, =P.  I remember someone saying, these are the people that JPA didn't want, look at how we turned out.  Eat that, impotent fools!  Form 6 treated us kinda well...   I guess my sequence holds on, it has been proven that three events can tell a sequence.  In primary 6, I didn't get it, in Form 3, I got it, then in Form 5 I didn't get it and now Form 6, I got it!

I would also like to say " IN YOUR FACE!!!" to our beloved SMK Green Road.  I was pretty pissed that she got picked over me, she wasn't even in the top 3.  Payback's a bitch.  =P.  I no longer feel the same way about Green Road, mostly would just give em the cold stare..But still, I had a pretty great KL trip, it would have messed up my Genting big time.  I guess the Cosmos is at work here too? haha...

Me, I still remember I sang Jordin Spark's American Idol coronation song as I walked out the back door of school.

Now, I'm doing applications! It is SUCH A DRAG.... and its freakin expensive!!  Weighing my options, hoping for a scholarship that takes me far away~.

Till then, we'll see you when we see you.  lol...

Post-CNY Post

What comes post-cny? Is it the overwhelming amount of leftovers?  The redundant weight you gained over the past few days?  Counting of your angpao money?  Well, in this case and for my fellow form-6 fellas' case, its a smack-in-the-head  STPM RESULTS!!!  I believe nothing is more important that those results right now?

This year is the fastest one yet, that I have known... as if last year's papers were so easy to mark, like everyone got the same mark (fail), but a more sensible reason is that they got more markers this year, but based on their reputation, they are too much of a bunch of cheap-skates to hire more markers, aren't they?

Everyone is nervous, everyone worries because it lies in the unknown right now, a very important piece of information that very much determines your life.  Me, I am nervous as well, just can't help it!  My arms feel weak sometimes.  I can still remember the mistakes I made, the uncertainties in those foolscap papers.  Well, for what its worth, I did have time to finish the papers and checked it, which I could not do for school exam papers,  truly makes me wonder how did I do.  I don't think I can bear it once more, waves already crushed thrice, how much more can I take?  How much more do I have to take?

I went to tuition for every subject,  really hope that they pay off.  Some of them really helped me, like those teachers alot too.   However, those can't help me now...

I am aware that I have to be mentally prepared, but i can't seem to grasp that understanding quite that clearly yet.  I'm not into most bull.  >.<

Yeah, of course I want a CGPA 4.0, I am not sure I got a CGPA 4.0, I could get a CGPA 4.0, with some luck...  I'm flattered school forecast a 4.0 for me, I dreamed I got B+,A-, and  two Ds , also dreamed that someone got a B+ for Chemistry~, but its highly unlikely.  My school record all this while has been 3A-, 1A.  Definitely hoping for better.  I have to make room for disappointment, it bit me HARD on my ass couple of years ago.  For the record, every year these few years, only one person got 4.0 for our school.  Last year only 1 person got A for Physics, 1 for Chemistry, 1 for Biology and only 3 for Mathematics. (That is very few for Math).  Those terrifying statistics.. just makes people kinteo.  There are two hopeful ladies that really deserve to get 4.0 from school, hope they get it.  What about me?

I have already made plans, now it depends on the results to blow me in some direction.  Somehow, Leona Lewis's "Happy" comes to mind... but its not a happy song... @@

Oh dear...

Happy Chinese New Year!!

I wish you sincerely with all my heart,

May all of you have a prosperous new year ahead, as prosperous as McD Prosperity Burger and negate all future shortcomings with ease like repelling electrons with electric field as well as flourish your mind, body and soul like how the lalang-lalang always grow so tall and propagate very fast.

Remember to come to my house, remember to let me know if got group visiting! =D

Oh ya... its Valentine's Day too huh...just shove it in the trunk...=P

February lo...

Heyya... just checking in before CNY next week, exactly next week that is... well, its about time! I can't remember when was the last time CNY came so late into the year.  Last year's CNY was quite a great one, this year... not expecting much, tho everyone's gonna be here for it this year, so.. I'm glad, tho it would mean we have to give up storage space to accommodate family.  (sounds so cruel...XD).

Valentine's Day, I'm sure no Chinese is going to sell flowers that day, Ang Pao has the better profit : cost ratio anytime, hehe.  The color matches though, instead of cherry blossoms, we could go for the unconventional red roses to decorate houses instead. lol... so red...so bright... who cares, I'm single, =P

For the following days, I see spring cleaning... and some other stuff... the dust is covering up my vision...  Who knew so much preparation is need for a celebration.  Looking forward to it. =)

Life I'd say is on a stand-still.  There's a lot of things that I could do right now, reading, blogging, watching ellen show on Youtube, watch the Australian Open, drama, tv, more tv, but not the thing that I'm supposed to be doing, EARNING MONEY! @@

I get upset when things don't go my way, pampered? why don't money just fall out of the sky? LOL!

Feel so bored, so useless nowadays.  I even made a partial song from Love Bug about it.

now I'm jobless,
over the edge,
feel so useless,
I never thought that I'd catch this, slump bug again,
hopeless, down the sewers in a moment,
I never thought that I'd catch this, slump bug again...

Troubled, troubled,  I'm not even sure that I will have time for Uni applications and scholarship applications if I did get a job.  You know, it would SUCK big time if my results are not even good enough for those plans to be carried out.

Damn...

On the other hand, like my new blog color?  I feel that blue is the "in" thing now, lol.  Even Federer is wearing blue, haha!

POST #121  wow, that much huh?

My KL Trip!

Well, if you did not know, I was in KL last week.  It was a 8 day trip that was planned in April last year!  Had lotsa fun and I spent lotsa money... but I guess it comes with the territory.  Places we've been to includes Midvalley, Kl Sentral (hell lots of times), Genting, Chinatown, 1 Utama, Times Square, Sungei Wang Plaza, Lot 10, Sunway, thats it!  Sadly, we did not had the time to visit Pavillion, Gardens, The Curve. KLCC, Low Yat Plaza and they said 8 days were too long... but it is true that the longer you stay, the more you spend. Me? I'm the one who spent the most on that trip, does anyone like to challenge that?hahaha...!  T.T

The flight was shorter than I expected, I suppose that's how it is when you have people to talk to and play with.  LCCT terminal is okay by my standards, the only problem is the chairs, they are scarce and cheap-ish, but then its LCCT...

We took the AeroBus, cheaper when we bought round trips.  Sadly though, we arrived in KL during rush hour traffic, so agonizing, but Kelly Clarkson eased the blows, hehehe...

We saw our hotel from KL Sentral, it was tall and lean, like KS, haha.  We walked there, carrying our luggage... a bit tough, but it was only about 2-3 minutes away.  The hotel specialty includes  great location, indian food everywhere and bathrooms with no locks.  All in all, still a good hotel.

Went to Chinatown, had tasty Chicken rice, bought shoes, haggled, XD.

Midvalley Megamall was HUGE!  We took the komuter, and some of us got SCAMMED when we crossed the bridge from the station to the mall, not telling names or the story, cos its not my story to tell, =P.  The place really had everything, but the toilets suck though.  I saw the big Nadal wall too, haha! Cudn't really buy anything cos the stuff were too expensive and not much stores were on sale, until I reached The Reject Shop.  @@  That was when I first caught the "fever".  Darn fever...   Saw lots of shops, a white Samsung Jet and a well designed pet shop.  We bought supplies too, for Genting, and dinner, and the RM10 cheese cake.  It was quite tasty.. but the RM12 one is better, I must admit...  Sad thing about Midvalley for me is that I did not have the chance to try the cream puff... T.T  RM3.80 each... but its so big... so tasty and I bet there's alot of cream inside....  damn... T.T

Genting, the road was steep!  Incredible how people dare to go on those roads in the mist at night.  Finally spent night time at Genting, could see my breath! It could be the most chilly place I've been to so far.  I managed to get into the casino, went bowling instead, they had awesome music and a very clubby atmosphere.  Played in the themepark, went on all the extreme rides, excluding the Flying Coaster, since it demands an extra charge of rm10, and it does'nt even last for 1 minute!  I got spun, horizontally, vertically, dropped and swung.  Hui Ling was right, the Pirate Ship is just a giant swing, really gotta salute that girl, went on all the extreme rides she did...  Genting, not to mention the view, it really was above the clouds, or at least among the clouds.  Saw a great number of beautiful sceneries.  The flowers also blossomed shamelessly, beautiful flowers that would not stand temperature below the mountain.  Cecilia said he saw Tzin Yee, what a coincidence that was...  Oh, shopping spree took place here too.  Put it this way, whenever you wanna buy stuff at Padini, let me know, cuz I got the member card.  @@   The hotels at Genting did not need Air-Conditioning, they just have the problem of keeping warm. 10 person in a quad room of Themepark Hotel, it looked like a refugee camp, haha, but it was lots of fun too! Tho I must say, the corners of the room were quite dirty, lousy housekeepers...

When we went down, stopped by at the temple thing.  Building a temple above the clouds, genius!  The scenery was great, mostly because of the weather.  We saw Uncle Lim too, haha! His statue I mean...

Our hostel, Bedz KL,  it was not bad, had a lot of ang-mos too.  The location is not that strategic leh, had to walk quite a bit, but still reasonable distance.  I had decent sleep there, must be the bed, but the cleanliness raises doubt. @@ .  The place was cheap though, its a place I would go back, for one-night stay.  They do not provide drinking water, =( .  So much food at Jalan Alor, I had claypot chicken rice...

Times Square, another megamall, but they're mostly women's clothing or just not my taste.  It was the first time I met Romp, then I realised that in every mall, there seems to be a Romp store.  The stores on the ground store are way to high-end for me.  I had a Subway too~, it was so healthy and there are no hidden tax involved.  Next time, I'm gonna go for the 1-foot long bun, Subway is awesome!

One Utama, it seems small to me, but from the outside, damn its big...  We took a taxi there, but we took the bus back.  One thing I love about the place is that it had this touchscreen directory on every escalator, they are very user friendly too because you can select a store and they will tell u how to get there.  Unfortunately, we did not get to try any of the bistros there, in KL too, on that matter, food is just expensive, compared to home.  I had another spree, haha.  In the end, there was a lot of stores that I missed, not because I did not have the time, because the place was very very confusing.  Finally had Burger King, haha.

Sungei Wang Plaza is quite a good place to shop, can be considered as the smaller version of Times Square, and now then I know that it is actually connected to BB plaza, hehe.  So many things that I can buy there, just did not have the spending power anymore, sadly.

Lot 10 on the other hand literally did not have anything, maybe because it was under renovation?  Tho, the half-price on sushi and bento after 8.30pm drew us to the place twice. Hehe...

Sunway, The Pyramid would be my favourite place to shop among all the ones that I've been to, apart from Midvalley.  It was clean, had all the labels and not confusing at all.  The themepark, wow I played till I was to tired to do anything.  The pirate ship there, Pirate's Revenge was very extreme!  I got spun 360, held up head down in mid-air until all the blood went to my brain.  Went on the rides more than once, except for the Pirate's Revenge, hehe.  We got to see real tigers too, really majestic creatures they are...  Finally went to the wet park this time, nothing scary, just enjoy the exhiliration at high speeds.  We had a hard time getting the bus back to KL from Sunway because we could not find the bus-stop!  Well, we did find it in the end, =)

The next day, which was the last day, did not have much to do.  We were bored, so we went to the airport very early.  Again, we saw great scenery on the plane because the sun was setting, then we got to see the lights of our city from above, hehe...  My parents could'nt recognise me because I was wearing my beanie!

It was a great trip, very proud of ourselves because we used every single type of public transport available.  Monorail, bus, taxi, LRT, komuter and rental van.  I had a great time, not really the time of my life, but still a really great time.  =)

Sorry guys, I'm too lazy to post photos up here, but feel free to see them on my facebook

My Form 6 Life

Seeing that school is starting soon and that I'm no longer part of it, is rather relieving but I do miss it badly...

At first, I was not happy at all, just didn't want to give in to my fate I guess.  I made my choice, and my heart felt better after that, besides, it was what I told myself 2years 3 years ago, if I cant go overseas, I'll stay for Form6, just didn't believe I would actually need to, too confident??

Well, what's done is done, but it doesn't mean I can't live differently, right?  So I did, at least I think I did, behaving differently, making different choices as those I would have made before Form 6.  Like academic excellence is not my top priority, I went to become an all-rounder? Badminton...English club...Science& Maths...Library...VAD... be an active student, and have more fun I suppose...  while your goddess was busy doing paper &  ink exercise, I was watching tv!  XD Where did it get me? Being good enough is significantly different from being the best, I don't miss it so much, no one can have it all.  Perhaps I didn't want to have it all? hehe...

I guess it was a fruitful year.

I participated in lots of activities, making me realize that there's something more powerful than the power to study, and that's the power to make things happen, sounds like bullshit?  When you make something happen, seeing it set in motion, the feeling is just incredible.  Even if you know how to study, you could still be useless, just saying... =P

Then there's the badminton.  First, I said I would only go if there's no homework that Friday, but in 2009, Friday no Maths, maybe it was fate...@@  I think I've improved, compared to before September 2008 (I remember that was when I started going, weekly onwards...)  Wonder how long it would take to make me a formidable foe, LOL...

And then there's the TENNIS!

Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open, ATP world tour series... You name it, I've seen it!   Can't believe how I got impressed and taken in by this game... makes me wanna play!  The first match I saw that I remember was the TITANIC Wimbledon final between Nadal and Federer in 08, since then, you can say that I got caught.  This year, I got to see Federer and Sharapova make a comeback!  Cheered for Roddick and his insane serve, saw Kim Clijsters play for the first time, damn she's good...Saw Serena Williams lose it... Ha~~ How I wish I could play... but no one to teach me... sadly...

I love my class, I still do.  Everyday was all laughs and work and homework, tuition, dinner, sleep.  I must say, Form 6 students have more freedom than lower forms, a slightly higher status in school rankings, lol...

Ah~ U6S2, we had such happy times, dreadful ones too...haihz...  I said once, a long time ago, that someday I would thank JPA for NOT giving me the scholarship, because I will have a great time and an awesome form6 life.  It didn't really turn out that way though, I made friends, gained a great deal of appreciative knowledge, sharpened skills, matured?  Still hesitating if I'm satisfied or scorned.

This photo was taken the night of 080809, I believe its the Jubilee Stadium.  A vague reminder of what happened.  I'll never forget that day,  A big big chapter in my life.

Form 6, its better than I thought! hehe... but it would have been great, shit happens...

To tell the truth, I deliberately ignored you, calling it an iron wall was..."well phrased", but its over now...em llac

Goodbye 2009!!!

This year... as I told a dear friend of mine, it would have been great, but before I get to that, I wanna describe my day today, haha!

So, I had a dream, a good one I suppose... way to start new year's eve! hehe...  A bunch of people on vacation together, watching a movie, and then something exciting happened during the movie, it's a sign~~~ LOL!  We took a bus in KL and we were singing to some Pokemon song which I didn't know but everyone else seem to know it, weird... The driver got annoyed and dropped us at a resort called "Sabah Thai"  funny...there is no such place...

I woke up, ate a pao, then went to take my IELTS results.  I was a little bit nervous, just a little bit... I was the 1st one to take the results, obsession?? I still remember saying to myself  "at least a 7, at least a 7...", then I said "yay!", then  "Oh,fuck!", cos I only got 6.5 for my writing, but I remember some Uni wanted at least 7 for writing, but when I checked the website again, it was at least 6.0, so I was relieved...

After that, I went home for a while, then went out to lunch with my family!  It was at 三囍楼 but we went to  三川 instead. =='' .  After a long trip sight-seeing around Kuching, finally reached 三囍楼...  the lunch buffet was not bad for my taste, but my family kept complaining about it.  =P

Then after lunch, my sister wanted to hit the banks, so I tagged along.  I saw Mr.Bong and son at Maybank, then after that I saw Mdm Lily on the road with her husband in the silver Avanza while I was waiting in the car outside Public Bank.  What were the odds?  Seeing 2 of my favourite teachers on the same day, on new year's eve too! haha!  Then we went to Hong Leong.  3 banks in 1 day? hmm...  After that we went to Satok, they were having such a sale...so many things had discounts over 50%... I had to resist... T.T      To KL, ppl!!!  I shall have my revenge!

Then it was dinner again, outside... went to 10th mile with lotsa relatives..  Tuu-kah!! Lunch oso got tuu-kah! But different stylings of the tuu-kah! Among other things...

After that, went to Mich's house for countdown, ended on a bad note.   : (

So that was my last day of 2009.  If its me, I would look back at 2009 and give it the finger...

Christmas

Wahey! First, I like to wish a Merry Christmas to those who celebrate... my family is not really into Christmas...haha...

Well, I can't really remember what I did Christmas eve last year, but I do remember having KFC for lunch on Christmas day...hehe.

Until now, I'm still waiting for my present.  Nissan 370z.

Damn... its such a beauty~! Oh Santa, its 19 years worth of Christmas presents, even a lifetime's worth of Christmas presents. lol

Well, this year, I spent my Christmas eve having a bloated stomach and a couple of laughs with my friends.  I had a great time, but not great for my stomach... >.<

Btw, the end-of-year post is coming up in a few days, planning to make it a meaningful one...After all, it "was" a pretty important year and my IELTS results are out that day! OMG OMG OMG~!

Long Awaited Post

Hi all, if you still have not realised or have been living under a rock, STPM is over.  Actually that's old news. Haha!  I've just been busy ever since, you'll know why later on.

You know, people keep asking me how was it, and I never seem to have the exact answer to that, more like my take on it changes rather frequently.  Like my parents, after every paper they will go " How was it?" and I'll always answer " Dunno..." or "Like that lo...? ".  Must be annoying, hehe...  well, its not like I can discuss whether the answer to the Chemistry Structure Question 1 is hydrogen gas or whine to them about how I wrote concentrated ammonia solution as concentrated ethanolic solution of ammonia, or how I screwed up the Step 1 in the electrophilic addition of alkene.  Just some of the mistakes in my Paper 2...  So agonising, total exam days were only 7, but the whole exam was spreaded out in a damn 3 weeks and their exam paper-taking sequence was stupid.  MPM people really don't know how to plan exams.

But, that was then, what's next is still then...haha.  I still remember that George of The Jungle was playing last Wednesday night, couldn't really study for Chemistry Paper 1...

Then "poof!", as fast as it came, as fast as it was gone.  Gone was STPM, gone was the final day in my school uniform, gone was the final day of school.  what am I gonna do with my school tie?  Was going to take photos that day, but no mood after Chemy Paper 1, =(

I not really happy that its over, just a so-so feeling.  People scream freedom! Liberation!  Nah, I don't feel that way, cos I always had freedom.

Were there celebrations?  Well, does playing badminton count?  It has been over a month since I last played.  Then there was Basaga... Oh, in the middle of those things, I was trying to start my IELTS "adventure".

Let me tell you a story.  I heard from Terence that there was a good teacher for IELTS, so me and Jenny decided to look for him/her since ELC's IELTS course starts only 6th January, the day I will fly.  All I had was an address and that the house was behind westwood.  No name, no telephone number, I don't even know what that person looks like!  Imagine that!  So I took a long while to seach for the house, when it was really behind westwood, sorta literally =.=''.  When I found the house, it was empty.  *curses...* .  Then I decided to leave a note, finally found a pen and paper after rummaging through the car's glove compartment.  Then, the pen no ink, .  Went to look for another pen, found another 1 with no cap, but at least it worked... halfway... then I had to tap it a few times on the steering wheel before it could work again.  Overall it was a gruesome and agonising process...  Then I finally went to Basaga.

Basaga, its beside Chonglin Park, a school turned hostel, very classy.  The food was undesirable.  Well, the meat was nice, but other than that, nothing worth mentioning.   There was a group of Lodge students too, all dressed up to sweat out in the open air, haha. =P .

This is Basaga kebab, lamb meat with prata bread, lame coleslaw and a yogurt + mint sos on the side.  It was a dark place, my phone's flash makes everything blue.

Made a funny picture, XD  You see more of it in the future cuz I like that expression.  Totally unintentional.

So this was Thursday. =)  Raise your glasses to Cecilia for organising it.  Cheers!

Friday, early morning basketball!  First time play basketball at that place, first time play basketball since.. last year. haha...  Can't believe my team won, lol.  A pair of Air Jordan died that morning.  I'm so sorry, should've worn you more frequently to keep u in shape...  Well, I guess its time to go Petaling Street to find his/her decendent. Hehe... =P   Then I went to register for IELTS with Jenny.  Date set on 19th December.@@  Then it was a shopping trip to the Spring, my legs are super tired lo...>.<

I couldn'nt walk properly on Saturday, was sore all over, especially my thighs.  Stayed in.  At night, my dad drove us to Batu Kawa to eat at some kopitiam.  What a celebration that STPM is over. =.=''

Sunday, I baked a cake!  Waddup~ haha! Then at night, went out to Jalan Song.  Had fun, hehe...

Check out the nice wallpaper!

Monday, Sematan!  Curse those sand flies... I'm gonna itch for weeks!  I drove to Sematan, quite an accomplishment for me, haha...  Played with sand, made a pig's head. played with sea water.  The ocean breeze was very very relaxing.  I could just sit there and do nothing all day and would still be satisfied... like magic, haha...

Tuesday, today I snuck into a library.  IELTS are go!

Update!

Okay, finally realised that November just set in! So you see, STPM technically starts on 23rd November 2009 and ends 10th December 2009.

How am I feelin? Nothing unusual frankly, just take it on like everything else. Treating it as it is nothing special could be catastrophic or it could just save you from panicking at one of the most important exams in your life. I can still remember that my sister said some people cried in the toilets after they took the exam. Why?

I have my goal, I will do what is necessary within my powers to get to it. Sounds simple enough, action wise? -requires lots of determination that I kinda lack nowadays, or do I? Forgive me if I'm contradicting myself, I do it a lot.

This month, I believe this blog will go stale, so I'ma brush the dust of now, so it won't look so bad in December when STPM is over, I repeat, when STPM is over, OVER. It could happen, I can see it happening now, with it being so close, haha...

Last MONth_

Finally been to Sharing Planet, not quite what I have expected, the food is okay but not somewhere I would go back for a second time, period.

What happens when you get Rm200 pizza hut money? You order the sides with doubles and point at the supreme range and say "All" . It is an exhilarating experience, (just the ordering) then the food comes, and you get bloated and you overspend, haha! It was so crowded cos some form3 class was having their class dinner. We didn't have those in our time...kids these days... tsk tsk tsk... Since we ordered everthing in stuff crust, I finally ate a stuff crust pizza!, but I still think that pan pizza is still the best. Note, I am not sick of Pizza Hut, I would welcome another food frenzy any day, hehe...

Look, its me! You know where this is? You can guess, hehe...I mean which toilet is this.
and no, its not Pizza Hut, ==;;

Oh, and I got this too. It gave me a grin...

Latest Entry

Well, it really has been a while... you know, been busy and stuff but now I've just finished my mock exams!

So this entry is about to begin about writing entries, I used to write posts weekly but as STPM draws nearer, posts gets lesser and lesser, harap maklum.

You see, having faced this exam, I believe I have found some sort of tranquility, or numbed or nulled.... meaning that I don't get that excited or hyped up about it, but I also don't get panicky or agitated anymore.

It really has its pro's and cons... lets put it this way, I used to be like a normal A.C current, now I'm more like rms current. Tho, Irms < Io

After the exams, desires keep popping up in my head, and they mostly involve FOOD...

wah... who says there are no places to eat in Kuching... recently I've been eyeing Frenz and Family alot, then there's the mysterious Sharing Planet which I kinda have no fate with, then there's a new dessert-based shop in Jalan Song near Starbucks! Then there's the new 人间茶坊 too! >.<>
Lol, I sound so cwazee~~ anyone wanna go to McD?

Ah wellz, I guess this is how it goes down...life from this end on is up! Wha?

I dreamt of Roger Federer

What?! Don't give me that look.... >.>

So amusing, he was playing tennis in my lorong with Gael Monfils! He lost though, lol.
You know, there was no net too, only the ends were marked with vertical tennis rackets. The court lines were laser! Red monochromatic ones too, so cool...haha.. I was standing on my gate there watching, and he came talking to me, XD . He wanted to give me tickets to next Saturday's game, but I didn't get it cos I failed to return with my handphone within their count to ten. =='' I cannot seem to find the reason I had this dream, very amusing dream though, haha...

Today's date is cool, 20.09.2009 once in a lifetime!

Oh, can someone tell me how to manage broken computer mice? I hate disposing electronic waste, very harmful.

What Post Is This??

Okay okay, some people have been asking why is there no new post for so long? Referring to my previous post, I just thought it deserves some time at the top, =P . Besides, I got really undecided about what to post next.

I wanted to blog about the stuff I cooked when I was home alone a couple of weeks ago, but the pictures I took were unsatisfactory, or it could be that the food I cooked was just ugly. hehe... basically... I incorporated lots of potatoes instead of your everyday rice. I made fried rice, fried noodles.. fried some fishsticks too. I used claypot noodles for fried noodles, haha, weird... I made bak choi with oyster sauce, curry-flavored sotong etc.

I even thought about making another song parody with " I've Got A Feeling", its called "My Dog is Peeing". Just thinking out singing " My dog is peeing... woohoo~" makes me laugh. XD

Our country's Independence Day is coming up, I have thoughts about beloved Msia, its gonna be a long long post, and its like ISA-gonna-catch-me-if-they-see-this-material. @@

I also wanna tell a story. Last week Chemistry tuition, the teacher did'nt turn on the air-con or any of the fans! Everyone was like " What's going on??", and then this girl came in, halfway to her seat she realised it was hot and said " Why no air-con? So hot here! and I'm wearing a jacket! What shit is this?? " So funny, I'm gonna remember that for good, haha...
seeing and listening to a girl say "What Shit is this??", I think thats funny, I must be weird, LOL...

This week is supposed to be a study break! Unfortunately, shit happens, such is life. Its what you do with it that matters most...
