2008
I can still remember what I was doing at the moment it turned 2008. I was chatting and gossiping about Wendy and his girlfriend because we just found out. Everything were just fine... so ignorant, so oblivious... so happy...
This whole year, I can only remember the bad stuff, the unhappy periods, for they overshadow the good ones. However the good ones will not go unnoticed because I'm fair. The world fell on me, the word upset is far from describing what I was feeling, devastated? A phase of severe devastation.... A process I'm getting so familiar with. First is the crushing of the heart, you feel like dying, and after that is the anger phase, you get really angry at the world and still feel like dying. Last is the phase of numbness, you just feel invincible because you feel like nothing could ever hurt as much as you felt in the first phase, fear is unfamiliar, dying would seem like nothing... This phase is permanent, at least in my case, it still does feel like it...
Do you know how it feels to have your dreams crushed? A dream that was small and a whole heart was bet on it, it sure does seem like sure bet! At the time...
Seriously, its that of a bigga deal, if not, why would I even BOTHER to feel this way?
I will never forgive, or forget.
Yes, there were times I was happy, yes there were countless times I would forget about this pain. But nothing that would etch so deeply that it lasts... Things that I'm glad for in 2008? New friends, that's a start... and I believe I'm better in badminton now... rebonding is nice too... Now, I appreciate 人与人之间的牵绊( not sure if its the correct 词). Now, THATs something... to me.
I can still remember that time during Form6 orientation, I leaned on Calvin's shoulder and sighed, and then he sang " You got a friend in me... you got a friend in me" Its a song from Monster's Inc btw... I really thank him, really needed that... (Calvin-san, kimi wa boku ittsumo no tomodachi da...) But I bet he does'nt read my blog anyway, =P.
Oh, and songs make me cry now, correction, wanna cry. I found 3 that does. I've changed...
So what am I gonna do on the 31st? I was hoping that there's gonna be a party... XD or I can watch Taiwan countdown concert like every other year....
I don't bother about new year resolutions, =P . Here's to a new year, may many good things happen.

Okay, some pictures that I wanna post before the new years.
This is Corallium Cafe located behind Star Cineplex. We went the before Christmas actually, the food is not bad, the service is good. I think its mostly because the waiter is new, the kind that is working while waiting for SPM results, hehe... so they're polite and everything.
They use blue light, which is painful to the eyes, but you can always request to use yellow or white fluorescent light.
They were having Christmas offers, Rm9.90 for main courses. They have four types of sauces, mushroom, blk pepper, bbq and blueberry. I opt for the blueberry because its so interesting and rare. It taste different from what I was imagining. Its a bit like plum sauce, goes quite well with fried pork.
And this is Corallium specialty, Chocolate fondue, and we got it for free! Thx to My Privelege Book. =D

This is the counter of the new Bing! at Premier 101. Its Packed! Almost to the max! Not just young people, even the uncles and aunties were there. Prices are cheaper than Starbucks too, and its so much nearer to my house, XD. Again, great ambience from great furniture and interior designing. I'm always lazy to take photos, =P. This is the only one.

This is a seashell in the table, yes, IN the table, but in this picture, it looks like the shell is above the camera...

Bells Will Ring...
Dang... the hols will be over soon... and I just started to get into the holiday mode, which is BAD... haha... Everywhere I hear christmas songs, christmas themes... tia tiok chin chiak lak a... =='' .
If it gets too much I just go blearg...
I had the most interesting dream last night, it involved lots of stairs, a lake with mountain view, sewers, a black cobra as tall as a single storey building, Courtney Cox, and i had a flashback in the dream about a creature from a previous dream, now in this dream its only a head and still alive... If i write the dream in detail, it would be a hell of an action movie, XD. I don't know why though sometimes some dreams you can remember very well but others just fade when u wake up?
Well, I'm more interested in the meaning behind these dreams... is this divinity?? Naw.....
See in this dream, I was running up the stairs with 3 other people, we were dying to get out of the underground, it was ALOT ALOT of stairs that just look the same, like when your using the stairs in a tall building. I can still remember the exhilaration, the excitement, anticipation when we were rushing up the stairs... Finally we reach the door and we open it, bright light pouring through, revealing a lake, a lake? With blue mountains rising behind the lake, it was truly like a painting.
We were barely stepping on the soft grass covered earth when one of the guys said " You know what, I can't do this... I gotta get back to the colony". "Yeah, I think we should go back" said another. I was like " What? I though we were gonna do this together?''. I couldn't understand what was holding them back, sense of regret? I was a part of the team too, but going back underground is just... Haihz... Them three were heading back to the door, one of them asked me, " what about you?''. What else could I do? They like were everything to me... Haihz... btw, I think this is when/where a small snake sneaked through door cos I didn't really close the door, which caused the downfall of the underground colony... lalala~
That was just the beginning of the story...
How peculiar that my dream can be soooooo movie-like...but is there like a hidden meaning in it? Lobster behind the rock? Subconscious woes, lol... is my mind trying to tell me something?? Am i thinking too much?
I mean, I know sometimes I choose to be alone, but it never feels good... though its sometimes better... Is it true that better things will always make you feel good? Not necessary right? So much issues going on... make me emo some more... ==

ONE AWESOME BOOK BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER !
My Privilege Book 2008 definitely made my life much more interesting because before this, I never really been the kind of person that goes eating out with friends, but after I inherited the MPB from my sister (different story...), I was amazed to see so many interesting and jaw-dropping places exists in Kuching! Without this book, I don't think I would know about them too... Honestly speaking la, places like Oregano, Rythm of Ice and Elephant Cafe is not that easy to find, =='' . It is also due to the discounts in the book, that people like me (which is people that believe that "less money is best policy" ) would even step into awesome-looking restaurants and cafes. It is with the help of MPB that I got tons of sweet memories with my friends, because it's just GREAT to be within good ambiance, with good food and in accompany of good friends. Want some proof? I have some photos too
hehe... So, kudos to MPB for colouring up my life and thats why i want the 2009 edition!!!
Lastly, I'm supposed to post a photo of myself and my expression if I were given the 2009 book, I am super embarrassed to post this photo, =='' , but then, 我豁出去了!
Kuchingbloggers.com is organizing a competition to win the book too, for further details, just click on the kuchingblogger icon on the right vertical bar ( its the pretty round icon ) Or if you guys want to pick up a copy, ...

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2
Well, its not a new movie cos I always wait for the dvdrip. I watched this movie last week and I found it very meaningful because it deals with friendship and how friendship falters when everyone takes a different path to follow....
So, this movie is obviously the continuation of the first movie, but I didn't watch the first 1, though I wish I had, haha... Its about these four friends that are obviously very close, and they found a pair of jeans that miraculously fit each of them perfectly. So they made a pact to take turns wearing the jeans and courier the jeans to the next person no matter what. Isn't that amazing?
Bridget, (the blondie) is a hot soccer-playing college girl who does archeology. Lena, is Greek, art student, blur blur, (Alexis Bledel is so pretty...@@ ). Libby is the sarcastic, slightly emo, writer. Carmen is the insecure, feels neglected, thinks of everything backstage-helper, the personality is quite similar to her other character, Betty in Ugly Betty.
In this movie, their friendship begins to somehow crumble because they broke their routine of spending the summer together. Each of them having their own plans, except for Carmen who then goes to Vermont to help in a play because she didn't want to be the only one without plans, but found something else instead. All four of them had relationship issues or boy trouble, except for Bridget who kinda went on a self-discovering journey. The big reason of the breaking friendship is the lack of honestly and the failure to open up, as always... So, they don't keep in touch as much as before. In the end, .... (I'm not telling, =P )
This is definitely a recommended movie to watch because the story it carries, its something people our age can relate to very well because you know, high-valuing friendship and all losing contact and all... If people fit now, would they fit forever? Do you know them well enough? Do you trust them to know you well enough? Do you believe?
Gotta love that emotional roller coaster you get every time you watch a movie!
