The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

Well, its not a new movie cos I always wait for the dvdrip. I watched this movie last week and I found it very meaningful because it deals with friendship and how friendship falters when everyone takes a different path to follow....

So, this movie is obviously the continuation of the first movie, but I didn't watch the first 1, though I wish I had, haha... Its about these four friends that are obviously very close, and they found a pair of jeans that miraculously fit each of them perfectly. So they made a pact to take turns wearing the jeans and courier the jeans to the next person no matter what. Isn't that amazing?

Bridget, (the blondie) is a hot soccer-playing college girl who does archeology. Lena, is Greek, art student, blur blur, (Alexis Bledel is so pretty...@@ ). Libby is the sarcastic, slightly emo, writer. Carmen is the insecure, feels neglected, thinks of everything backstage-helper, the personality is quite similar to her other character, Betty in Ugly Betty.

In this movie, their friendship begins to somehow crumble because they broke their routine of spending the summer together. Each of them having their own plans, except for Carmen who then goes to Vermont to help in a play because she didn't want to be the only one without plans, but found something else instead. All four of them had relationship issues or boy trouble, except for Bridget who kinda went on a self-discovering journey. The big reason of the breaking friendship is the lack of honestly and the failure to open up, as always... So, they don't keep in touch as much as before. In the end, .... (I'm not telling, =P )

This is definitely a recommended movie to watch because the story it carries, its something people our age can relate to very well because you know, high-valuing friendship and all losing contact and all... If people fit now, would they fit forever? Do you know them well enough? Do you trust them to know you well enough? Do you believe?

Gotta love that emotional roller coaster you get every time you watch a movie!
